Meet the Founder, Jennifer Quijano

I’m Jennifer Quijano—licensed attorney, creative writer, and the person organizations trust when they make important changes to the services they offer, especially urgent and important ones.

I founded Access Forward to help organizations of all sizes stay relevant and prepared in a fast-changing world. My approach is a balanced mix of logic, creativity, and compassion, with a touch of optimism and realism that make even the most challenging tasks possible. If big changes or future plans for your organization feel overwhelming, I’m here to help you find what fits your organization, make a plan, and implement that plan to keep your organization moving forward.

A few things to know about me:

  • I bring 11 years of on-the-ground, professional NGO experience and 6 years of leadership experience to my work, ranging from entry-level to Executive Director roles 

  • I have worked in organizations of all sizes and covering a range of subject areas, and I enjoy learning about all of the unique ways that organizations are helping and improving the communities they serve

  • I am a trained creative storyteller, which guides me in shaping the story of your organization

  • I’ve helped multiple NGOs navigate changes to their services—often in crisis situations—so I always deliver thoughtful, meticulous work, even on an urgent timeline

Crisis Readiness & Response

I help nonprofit organizations develop strategic plans to be prepared when a crisis occurs, organize their response to the crisis, and recover after the crisis has been resolved to continue providing important services and ensure the organization has what it needs to continue moving forward.

Organizational Change Management

I consult with NGOs about existing programs and services they offer to determine whether these meet the needs of those they seek to serve, or whether changes are needed. I then work with NGOs as they implement changes to the services they offer, providing strategic advice and logistical guidance along the way.

Strategic Planning for New and Developing Organizations

I help NGOs that want to launch new programs with developing a clear strategic plan for how to make this a reality, including securing funding to make these changes possible.
